Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo Jinryong) and Korea Copyright Commission (Chariman Yu Byonghan) held ‘International Conference on Countermeasures against Copyright Infringement in Smart Environment’ on June 19 at Diamond Hall, Intercontinental Hotel.

During this event, officers from related organizations who are responsible for copyright protection in and out of the country presented cases of enlightening illegal copyright users. After the presentations, they discussed and conversed with the audience regarding how to solve major current issues.

The conference was meaningful in that lectures by the experts on countermeasures against online piracy provided an opportunity to grasp global trend in how to fight online piracy in smart environment. This is also expected to be a good opportunity to establish healthy ecoparadigm.
