 On November 24th, The Korean Copyright Committee co-hosted, with the Jeolloanamdo Agency for Culture Opportunity and Promotion (Director: Ki-hoon Kim) the “5th Copyright Education Forum, 2010”. This forum, which was hosted for two days in Jeollanamdo Young Am’s Hyundai Mokpo Hotel with the subject as ‘Expansion of on-job training of industrial copyrights’, focused on discussions regarding copyright education methods and copyright on-site case study presentations and professional lectures such as case studies on the conflict of copyrights regarding cultural contents (Prof. Cheol Nam Lee of Choong Nam University) and on-site copyright lawsuits and contracts (Prof. Ji Young Han, Chosun University). This forum was especially hosted with the active co-operation of the Jeolloanamdo Agency for Culture Opportunity and Promotion, which is the mother agency of the National Culture Promotion Institute Committee. It is expected to be an opportunity to prepare the cornerstone of a nation-wide expansion of copyright education in the cultural business sector and the appreciation of its necessity. |
