Title Inauguration of a new KCC chairman

Korea Copyright Commission under leadership of Yu Byong-han, a new chairman, has cut the ribbon on July 1.
 
New chairman Yu, obtained his BA degree from College of Law, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea and Master of Legal Studies from Law school of Indiana state university, Indiana, US. Prior to joining the Korea Copyright Commission, he was a spokesperson of the Ministry of culture, sports and tourism(MCST) and served as a Deputy Minister of MCST. During his term of office, he specially focused on the copyright polices for providing sufficient standards of copyright protection and fair use of works.
 
Chairman Yu said in the inauguration ceremony, "I am taking the position to change the commission literally to the highest level of professional copyright organization in the world" and pledged, "The commission will try to create the win-win culture of the copyright as copyrights are sources of national wealth."
